I lost 6.4 pounds my first week of Weight Watchers!!! My goal was 5 pounds so I was very happy. I am about 1/4 of the way done with my baby blanket, started a scarf from the Happy Hooker book for my swap partner, but haven't really worked on my doilies. I sent my tote package, but after I did, I realized I didn't take a picture of the tote. Duh!! Oh well, maybe my partner will take a picture of it for me and I can use it to post it here. Had a fun day yesterday with my family. We found a new thing to do, for us anyway. It's called Letterboxing. What it is, is you go to www.letterboxing.org and they tell you where all the boxes are in the US. A letterbox is just a container with a stamp and a note pad in it and you have to follow a map from whoever put the box there and find it and put your stamp in their pad and put their stamp in yours. We were looking for 2, but only found 1. One was hidden in a park, so we met my parents and sister there and had a nice picnic.

WIP's

I don't know when I've had so many projects going at once! I am working on 2 doilies, 1 baby blanket, and now I signed up for another swap at Crochetville. I am going to be making a scarf and am very excited about it. I am done with the tote I made for my last swap, but can't post pictures yet because I still need to mail it. It is sitting on the kitchen counter and just waiting for me to address it and get to the post office. I will probably do it today. When my partner gets it, I will put up a picture of it. As for WW, I have been doing great on it. I can't wait for tomorrow to get weighed to see if I've lost any. I'll post my progress after my meeting.

I have been working on the grape doily for a Christmas present. The grapes are repetitive, so I started on another doily that I liked. I will work on both on and off.

On a side note, I joined Weight Watchers today. I am very excited about it. I'm not sure what my end goal is, but for this week it is to stay on the program. I signed up for the monthly pass. If anyone is interested, my username is wwprincess66.

We had a great weekend. Went to Ventura Beach. About a 2 hour drive so I had a lot of time to crochet. I finished my Tapestry Tote bag that I was doing as a crochet along at the Ville.

   My next project is a grape doily.

I have been crocheting for about 15 years. I have crocheted everything from afghans to doilies. I enjoy making smaller things, since I get bored with repetition. I just finished a tote bag for a swap I was in on my favorite crochet forum, Crochetville. I am now working on another tote but a different pattern. I am also starting to think about Christmas presents. I will try to keep this updated and post pictures of things I've made when I get used to it. I'm pretty new to the posting, blog, thing so bear with me!
